Steve Cohen, organizer of the upcoming RP Social, has asked me to post the following information. Note that the RP Social attracts people across the nation, so the content is aimed more at non-residents. I’m just copying and pasting. I know you folks all know about the free mall ride, for example. LOL.<div><div><br></div><div>RP Social 2025 Denver will be Friday May 2 at 2pm thru Monday May 5 at 11am. The location is downtown Denver near Union Station and the 16th Street Mall lined with restaurants of many cuisines plus shops and entertainment. Our Hotel is the Curtis Hotel which is a Doubletree Hilton hotel between 14th and 15th streets on Curtis Street. It is fun and quirky with 30 themed floors, a full service restaurant, bar and Starbucks inside. There is no special booking code so book as soon as possible using either: <a href="http://hilton.com/">Hilton.com</a> or on your favorite travel booking site (Expedia, Hotels, Tripadvisor, etc). Taxes are 15.75%. Room prices including taxes run around $245 and up. Pricey but worth it because we walk or take public transit and within 5-15 minutes, we can be so many wonderful places. 16th street mall from Amtrak Union Station has a free bus that runs frequently. There is low-cost light rail from Denver airport direct to Union Station. Transportation to the Social is easy with frequent direct <br>flights to Denver Airport as well as via Amtrak on the California Zephyr. Once you get to Denver and pay for the Hotel, your only other expenses are food and drink. IMPORTANT: RP Socials can change your Life as Rose Kamma Morrison explained in her recent video on Youtube (see comments for link). The last big Social (70 people) was in 2019 in Chicago O'Hare/Rosemont) followed by a smaller one at the tail end of the Pandemic in downtown Philadelphia in 2022. I ran both RP Socials as well as planned the 2020 event in Minneapolis that was cancelled and helped with the 2017 Summit NJ Social. The next one might not be until 2028 so don't miss this opportunity. Everyone who has ever attended was very happy to be with so many other RPers /Ushers folks from North America and sometimes from Europe, Australia or anywhere on the planet. Family members are encouraged to attend and they learn a lot by sharing experiences with each other. This is a PURELY Social event with no organization, no agenda, no registration fees. Just a bunch of RPers and families gathering in the same place for FUN, conversation, "sightseeing", eating and drinking. There is lots of laughter, camaraderie and bonding. Lifelong friendships have been made at RP Socials. There are lots of white canes so even novice cane users feel empowered to become more proficient. I have booked the biggest hotel room (King Suite) for myself which will serve as our "Hospitality Suite" with snacks and lots of seating. My request to you is to PM me after you book your room with names of all attendees, guide dogs, where you live, how many nights you are staying and your cell phone number & email address. Book TODAY to get the best rate or to Reserve the Star Trek (Final Frontier) or Ghostbusters (Who Ya Gonna Call) themed hotel room. There are even more to choose from. I am looking forward to your Comments! Hope to see you in Denver in early May!! Looking forward to being with friends from past Socials and especially meeting new folks.<br><br></div><div>End of info from Steve.</div><div><br></div><div>This is Paul again.
