[Community-service] The B.I.G. Day - Be Involved Give

Hi all,

On Saturday, April 26, the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce is holding the B.I.G. Day (Be Involved Give), one day where over a thousand people will participate in community service projects all across the Denver metro area to help a variety of nonprofits. A group from the Colorado Center for the Blind is planning to participate in a B.I.G. Day project, and I intend to be part of that group. I will definitely post about the project and my experience afterward, but I am also writing this because I think this is a really cool way to get involved, and I would imagine that other cities do something like this as well.
