[Community-service] Community service group and all of its activities

Hello everyone!
Thank you to those who made the call today.
Here is what we talked about:
One. Community service project at convention: Charlotte has received responses from interested individuals. Charlotte has extended deadline for sign-ups to Sunday, June 8, if one is interested in being a part of this.
Two. We will be putting on two concurrent sessions for youth. The first one will be from 11 AM to 12:15 PM and will be for 11-14-year-olds. The second session will be from 3:30 PM-4:4 5 PM and will be for ages 14-18. Both the service project and concurrent sessions will be on July 1. The service project taking place in the morning
Three. Trivia night will be on Thursday, July 5. We will have two sessions with the first session being from 6:15-7:30 and the second session being from 7:45-9:00
Entry fee of $10 per person is being asked for, a portion of the proceeds will go towards funding programs of the division, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the cash prize given to the winning team in each session
We are working on a"bid for a buff would allow for teams to bid for the services/company of a federation leader for the duration of the Trivia evening
We have compiled a range of categories spanning from music, sports, technology, space, animals and more
We are working on a formatting/scoring system to be used at the event
Four. Are's seminar will take place on July 3 from 6:15-10 PM registration will start at 6:15 and at 6:25 we will have representatives from the Red Cross, hands on network, and Habitat for Humanity on hand to talk about their programs, and how you can get involved with them in your local community
At 7 o'clock we will have the beginning of our formal agenda. Presenters such as Mark Riccobono, Kevan Worley, Sam Gleese members of the community service group blind AmeriCorps alumni, a representative from the Corporation for national and community service, San Francisco Lighthouse for the blind youth program, and a few of our 2014 national scholarship winners
We will also have our division organizing meeting. This will include: approval of the Constitution, establishment of division dues , election of officers and a mapping out of the activities the division will take on during the coming year
Five. We will be raffling off tickets for a limousine ride on July 4, what better way could there possibly be to cruise the town and take in fireworks?… I didn't think so :-)
