Hi everyone.

 

For those who are new to the list, my name is Mary Ann. I am responsible for
developing workshops and discussions to help our members grow in service
learning. You are invited to our first workshop on March 30, 2014 at 4 P.M.
Eastern.

Topic: How do I get involved in community service when I don't even know
what I like to do?

Subtopics

* brainstorming ways to identify strengths 

* brainstorming ways to identify personal interests

* brainstorming ways to identify skills, talents and abilities

* Discussion of how to conduct research to learn about the types of service
projects available. Includes discussion of resources for learning.

* Identify one takeaway for each person in the discussion. 

 

The point of these discussions is to open it up for folks to share ideas. I
will post a later e-mail with all ideas for workshop topics that I have
developed. I welcome all ideas for discussion topics once you have received
my topic list.
