[Community-service] New blog post

Hi all,

This note is just to let everyone know that I have posted a new entry on the Community Service Blog. So head on over to http://nfbcommunityservice.wordpress.com/ to check out what Libra Robinson and the other members of the NFB of D.C. Community Service Division have been up to. I think what our members in D.C. did is pretty awesome, and I would join with Libra in encouraging other chapters to follow D.C.’s lead and do a similar project. If any of you do something like this with your chapter, we’d love to hear about it here on the listserv and also in an entry for the blog.

We are always looking for people to write about their community service experiences, so if you’ve got something you want to share, even if it doesn’t fit a particular month’s topic, please don’t hesitate to send it along to me at christine-parsons at sbcglobal.net. If you’ve got ideas for topics for upcoming months, please send those along as well.
