[Community-service] Community-service Digest, Vol 60, Issue 7

DearJordan,
  I don’t believe that you’ll get much an argument that advocating for things such as walkable sidewalks and  access to transportation  are beneficial to the community.
  however the motivation for such things is to bring about a outcome beneficial to one’s  portion of society ( seniors or folks with disabilities for example)
  What I think is really inspiring and exciting about community service is that it allows people the opportunity to do something that has no immediate or perceived impact on them. 
 thoughts?
