Hello Fellow Federationists,
After our first year as a division, it is my pleasure to introduce to
the list serve the first newsletter of the Community Service Division!
In the attached document, you will read articles about how to get
involved with service, get an update about how far we have come in the
past year, get a glimpse of a dear member's service story and
experience, and discover a bit more about one of our most exciting
ventures of 2015! So read, get inspired, and reach out to the
Newsletter Committee with any thoughts you may have about this
publication, or for future publications.
This newsletter is a momentous step forward for the division, and we
are glad that you as readers and possibly future contributors are here
to experience this with us. Happy reading, and let's get involved!
Warm Regards,
Hindley

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create
obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life
you want; blindness is not what holds you back
