Many of you know that the Community Service Division has a blog.
This blog has been lovingly maintained by our very own Chris Parsons.
Chris has put the work into this blog in the hopes that many a blind person, many a person would come to read, share and benefit from it.
I know that people are busy, but I know that none of us are so busy that we can’t check it out :).

She also loves it when you send her blog entries. If you have something you want to write about or know someone who might, then you really should get a hold of her.
email her at christine-parsons at sbcglobal.net
Thanks!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
“We need your service, right now, at this moment - our moment - in history. I'm not going to tell you what your role should be; that's for you to discover. But I am going to ask you to play your part; ask you to stand up; ask you to put your foot firmly into the current of history” — Barack Obama
