[Community-service] We don't volunteer?

Hi everyone,
I was talking with someone recently who pointed out that in their opinion, blind people seem to have a real lack of interest in volunteering.
They really got me to thinking about their conclusion, and I wanted to ask you your thoughts.
Do you find that blind people volunteer?  Do they do so more, or less than others?
Do they just have no interest at all?
If not at all, why?
