Thank you for your question. I am excited that you’re so eager to get involved. A possible idea is to research some local places to volunteer, contact them, and then send any information you find out to the board members of the braille club. Since they are the ones that make decisions, a strong recommendation from you may urge them to choose to participate. Also, you could suggest that the first meeting of the club begin with the service project, so that it could serve as an ice breaker and bonding activity for the members of the club.
