Hi Everyone,
So many of you are wondering how the families get the baskets of food and other gifts.
The social workers from social services offices, the school counselors, faith based organizations and many more people make referrals to one local program in the community and ask for donations.
Service providers and non-profit groups get donations from the public and prepare the baskets.
Here in Maryland and more specifically Montgomery county The NFB has picked a name of a family where the member is blind and provided them with the food and gifts.
We try to assist a family where one person is blind as we want the person to know about us.
