During this present year’s Teacher Appreciation Week, I handed out roses to teachers.  I am an educator and it can sometimes be motivational when someone acknowledges a person’s commitment and service.  One teacher had a class of sophomores when I delivered her rose to her with words of appreciation for her service in the school system.  She was very elated and was grateful that someone acknowledged her service with admiration.  It was a well-deserved tribute to these teachers and I was thankful I could do such a small act.
