“IDO” COMMUNITY SERVICE CHALLENGE SERVICE SPOTLIGHT Dr. Lashawna Fant from Mississippi❤️

My mother and I partnered to clean the cemetery and put new flowers on graves for the Memorial Day weekend.  Old flowers were tossed and graves were cleaned.  We did this twice for the 2019 Memorial Day weekend because so much love andattention was needed at the Houston Public Cemetery in Houston, Mississippi.  Flowers were placed on the graves of my great-uncles who were veterans in the army also.  It was a very humbling experience, because I viewed it as paying homage to people from my native community.
