Subject: [Community-Service] Meet a Willing Worker: June Hunter-Hardy - Blindness Equality Achievement Month Day 09

Welcome to Blindness Equality Achievement Month!

She’s all packed and ready to serve! A Willing Worker claiming #9! Celebrating Miss June Hunter-Hardy from Wilmington, Delaware!

Photo Description: June is in a red t-shirt sitting down With her hair in box braids in bob style. She dons Hoop earrings and glasses with transitional lens. On her shirt is a pictured of Carter the love of her life who passed away.

Hello, I’m June L Hunter-Hardy. I was born in Brooklyn, New York, but raised and educated in Virginia and now I currently reside in Wilmington, Delaware. I’m a proud Cum Laude graduate from Virginia Union university. It’s one of the oldest private HBCU’s out here.

I’m a proud member of the Fall 1983 Vanity 9 line of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Beta epsilon chapter. I’m also a retiree after working 30 years with the Internal Revenue Service. I roll under the sign of compassion for others, adventure, loyalty, sarcasm and I’m quick on my feet. I’m a sports lover and music lover too. I named my daughter Destinee’ because she was my fate. And my granddaughter Miracle is our MIRACLE after almost losing my Destinee’.

My passion has always been working with and helping people. From teaching children and adults to teaching family. I keep a bag packed because my love for traveling is real, lol and I just love to have a good genuine time. The reason why I’m #9 is because it’s my line number and my sign, Sagittarius. Before joining the CSD I was very shy and lacked self-confidence. I was in serious denial of the “B word”, but since being a part of CSD, my confidence level has increased tremendously.

I know I am pretty, I am proud, I am determined, and I am BLIND!!!

This is NoSmoke, and I’m out!

Come on CSD, let's match her charismatic charm and pack those bags!
