Subject: [Community-Service] Meet a Willing Worker and CSD Secretary: Daria Bannerman - Blind Equality Achievement Month Day 12

Welcome to Blind Equality Achievement Month!

Photo of Daria Bannerman

She is Day 12 and has the CSD double splash! A Willing Worker & a Board Member! She is Daria Bannerman from Maple Hill, North Carolina and she has NO splash zone limit!

Daria is originally from a little bitty town in North Carolina, but now live near Fayetteville. She is a proud college graduate with a BA degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing. In addition, she holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. Those years of midnight cram sessions and endless term papers helped pave her way to success as an Employment Specialist for Acceleration Educational Services.

This beautiful jewel is not all work and no play. She has many joys of comfort and interests such as reading books from almost any genres you could think of, expanding upon her creative writing skills, watching her favorite television shows, spending quality time with her friends, going out to explore different eateries, shopping for new and exciting buys, watching those randomly funny YouTube videos, and much more. But one of her greatest loves, is being able to help others.

Daria became a vital part of our wonderful division earlier this year and has been family ever since! Her commitment to serve has been extremely valuable to our division, especially her service as our divisional secretary and a steadfast, hard-working Willing Worker. She has helped raise funds for the division, has spread awareness through social media, collected blankets for the Ronald McDonald House, shares her talent in writing articles for our Beyond The Six Dots newsletter, and the list goes on. Whenever there are tasks to be done, you can count on her to shine through with her sweet personality!

Daria is a firm believer in giving back to the community. She strongly believes that so many people poured their love, support, and wisdom into her that it has inspired her to give unto others. She may be the quiet type, but her loyalty and commitment to serve, speaks volumes!

Join us today and splash in service!
