[Community-Service] NFB Newsline presentation by the NFB of Delaware

The National Federation of the Blind of Delaware is pleased to announce
that we will be holding a workshop on June 4, 2022, to present information
about the NFB-NEWSLINE service. The NFB-NEWSLINE is a free audio and
Braille news service for anyone who is blind, low vision, deafblind, or are
otherwise print disabled. It offers access to more than five hundred
publications, emergency weather alerts, job listings, and more. Users of
the service will get audio access to local publications such as the
Wilmington News Journal and the Dover Post; as well as access to national
and international publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post,
and the Financial Times. The service also provides access to magazine
publications such as Time, Consumer Reports, and Guideposts to name a few.

"Access to the press is what most people consider a fundamental American
right. Having this access is empowering, informative and allows me to be an
active participant in my community" says Carol King-Ries, President of the
Northern Delaware Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of
Delaware.

In this workshop we will share details about the service, who is eligible,
how to get access, and how to use the service. The workshop will be held
via Zoom on Saturday, June 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST. To register
