I was asked to give a description of the picture that is attached to my bio. I am standing on the Brooklyn Bridge, with the New York City skyline behind me. I am wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. The hoodie has the words “And Still I Vote.” Printed on it in white and yellow block letters. I am a dark skinned African American woman and have long, black wet and wavy hair. The photo is in black and white, and this was taken for a national campaign against voter suppression. I wrepresented the disability demographic when discussing voter suppression.
