[Community-Service] Important CSD Notice!

Community Service Division Members & Supporters,



It is with great sadness that I report the cancellation of our 2023
National Community Service Project with the Ronald McDonald Charity House
of Houston, Texas.

As of Monday, May 8, 2023, our division has been informed by national
representatives that raising any type of funds and/or the collection of any
donation under the federation name must remain within the blind community.
To protect and maintain the confidentiality of the residence of the Ronald
McDonald Charity House, we cannot confirm if the majority of the
individuals identify as being blind. Therefore, we will not be serving the
residence of this facility, and we are no longer collecting care package
items for this particular project.

If you have already sent donations, please contact our division president,
Jeanetta Price, as soon as possible. Any other questions regarding the
cancellation of our 2023 National Community Service Project, please contact
one of the Community Service Division board members off list.

We value each and every one of our members and supporters, and are just as
heart broken by the newly released information. However, we have all been
bonded together by the heart of service. We will continue to go Beyond The
Six Dots, and we'll forever serve in love and with passion!!
