[Community-Service] hello all, are you here

Hi all,

 

I'm just seeing if I'm on the list as it seems quiet.

 

I'm seeking community service while then searching for work. I've always
been legally blind and have many questions about doing community work, if
this list is still here.

 

 

I have some central vision. Thankfully, my teachers of the vision impaired,
TVIs, knew the limits of my vision so encouraged me to use my other senses
and my vision.

 

At an early age, I learned braille, how to use a pc with a screen reader,
how to use a white cane although that was not emphasized as much, and how to
be an advocate.

 

I wanted to ask about work with charities who serve the essentials like
food.  

 

I hope many of you are here and please tell me that and perhaps which
volunteer service you do now.
