The Affiliate Action team is pleased to announce a new and exciting
program, and we want you to be a part of it! We are addressing the
education crisis facing our blind students by recruiting more teachers
and sharing our philosophy with them. We are forming a team of
enthusiastic volunteers from across the country who can make
presentations about this rewarding career in college classrooms. We need
energetic students, parents of blind children, current or past teachers
of blind students, or anyone who is passionate about making a difference!

We are holding an informational seminar during our 2010 national
convention on Saturday, July 3 from 3:00-4:30 in the Affiliate Action
Suite (2372). This is a great opportunity to speak with program
coordinators, learn more about the program, ask questions, and do some
great networking with others interested in the field. We are certainly
excited about this program, and we hope to see you there!<br>
