should mention from my previous post that I have been very successful in
obtaining employment, and this is in part due to my involvement in the greater
community. Having the skills and qualifications for the job is big, but
what you do in your spare time has a significant impact on a potential employer,
and can be the difference between them hiring you, or the next person who is
more involved. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

losing my eyesight 25 years ago, this is how I began to get back on my feet, and
I have never looked back. With the last job I had applied for, and it was
the only one because I really wanted this job, I was offered the position after
3 interviews, and was chosen out of a group of finalists of about 65-70.
The reason, my connections back to the community. I work in the Human
Service profession, and being connected is huge.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
