Volunteerism and Community Service, Volunteer Florida, is pleased to announce
the availability of funding to support Disability Mentoring Day Mini Grants of
up to $750 to support collaborations between AmeriCorps Programs and Disability
Organizations.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt"><font size="3" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri">The purpose of this grant
(application attached) is to provide opportunities for individuals with
disabilities to learn about AmeriCorps through a mentoring experience with
AmeriCorps members and to support the continued development of partnerships
between AmeriCorps Programs and disability organizations.</span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt"><font size="3" face="Calibri"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Calibri">Eligible applicants include
not-for-profit disability organizations, governmental entities that serve
persons with disabilities and AmeriCorps programs.</span></font></p>
