We’ve got you covered. Every AmeriCorps member who competes his or her term is eligible for a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award that can be applied to college tuition or eligible student loans. And you have “7 Years” after your service to use it, because “soon you’ll be 30 years old” and you don’t want to still be paying for college. But it’s nice to know your team and the national service family are standing behind you as you serve. The AmeriCorps family is now 1 million strong and growing, and we are working to connect our alums to jobs through our Employers of National Service initiative. This program has enlisted more than 400 employers that are looking for people just like our members to fill openings in the 2.3 million jobs they represent.
