I have donated at Children’s Hospital in Washington, DC, and for the Red Cross. Only a few hospitals have their own blood banks. Children’s Hospital sent a van to get me and some of my coworkers there to donate. It is an easy thing to do for most of us. If I were a person who had hard-to-find veins, or if I got dizzy, or if it took a long time to get a pint out of me, I would probably find some other way to be useful, but I have had good experiences. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'>Children’s Hospital has to interview me just as they interview every other donor.
