<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">So many of you are wondering how the families get the baskets of food and other gifts.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The social workers from social services offices, the school counselors, faith based organizations and many more people make referrals to one local program in the community and ask for donations.
<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Service providers and non-profit groups get donations from the public and prepare the baskets.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Here in Maryland and more specifically Montgomery county The NFB has picked a name of a family where the member is blind and provided them with the food and gifts.
