<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">CNN) – January 20th is Inauguration Day.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">A historic ceremony as the nation watches the swearing-in of president elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the first woman to take the office of vice president.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">But the festivities will kick off before that; on January 18th Martin Luther King Jr. Day.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">It’s a National Day of Service and the soon-to-be president and vice president are going to be part of it and you can too.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">There will be service events all over the country, most of them virtual of course and you can sign up on the inauguration website.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">The focus will be on COVID-19 relief everything from poverty, hunger, and homelessness to racial injustice, mental health issues, and educational disparities.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">Then on the 19th, there will a national memorial to remember and honor lives lost to COVID-19.</p><p style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; -webkit-hyphens: auto; font-size: 1.125rem;">Come Inauguration Day, the traditional parade will be virtual.</p><div class="article-categories-tags" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; box-sizing: border-box; margin-bottom: 15px;"></div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;"><br><div dir="ltr">Sent from my iPhone</div></body></html>
