programs mentioned by Chris as well as anything else that might be available to 

help you “start over.”</DIV>

<DIV>There are centers where you can go away to learn better blindness skills 

and things available that a voc rehab counselor might not think necessary or 

relevant to your situation.  There is no harm in running through the 

possibilities with your counselor though.</DIV>

<DIV>What may be appropriate can be related to your vocational goals.  If 

your goal is to be a homemaker, programs like the vending program wouldn’t 

necessarily be brought up to you as an option.</DIV>
