<div class=MsoNormal style="font-size:12pt;">As many of you know, computer training with adaptive software can take several months to complete due to the large amount of material to be covered and the short amount of time that an instructor can give to a student. At times, transportation limitations can inhibit both the trainer and student and minimize the effects of training classes. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class=MsoNormal style="font-size:12pt;"><o:p> </o:p></div>
<div class=MsoNormal style="font-size:12pt;">Some of the adaptive software programs have implemented remote access features into their later releases which make it possible for a trainer or tech support specialist to gain access to a student’s computer without traveling to the student’s location. This allows the trainer to work with more individuals in a day and greatly reduces the price of training sessions because a student or agency does not need to pay a travel fee along with a training fee. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class=MsoNormal style="font-size:12pt;">Currently, Oak Hill has received a generous grant from the Gibney Foundation to allow us to work with individuals through distance learning. We are looking for people who use JAWS version 10 or later, Window-Eyes version 7.5, Zoomtext, Magic or Open book who would be interested in participating in some distance learning lessons.
