<div class=MsoNormal style="font-size:12pt;">I wanted to call your attention to a notice in the July issue of the Federal Register that invites public comment on the "Notice of Intent to Prepare an Environmental Assessment for Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act of 2010." In reading it over, it appears that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is seeking public comment on the preferred methods for hybrid and electric cars to emit auditory sounds to alert pedestrians with visual impairments, and that such recommendations will then be factored into the environmental<SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri', 'sans-serif'; COLOR: #1f497d; FONT-SIZE: 11pt"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></div>
