Birdies for Charity, a simple pledged-based fundraiser calculated on the number of birdies made during the 2012 Travelers Championship, </SPAN></SPAN><FONT size=5><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt" mce_style="font-size: 12pt;">is very similar to a walk-a-thon. Birdies for Charity donors simply pledge an amount per birdie, with the minimum set at one cent per birdie. PGA Tour professionals are expected to make an average of 1500 – 2000 birdies during the Travelers Championship which runs from Wednesday, June 18 through Sunday, June 24, 2012. Thus, a one cent pledge will result in approximately a $15 to $20 donation to the NFB of CT. If you prefer, a flat rate donation amount can be pledged. Pledges must be made and processed online by Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 6:00 PM, and payment will be due by September.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes" mce_style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </SPAN></SPAN></FONT></DIV>
