so much better now for anyone blind disabled persons. I hope now Cosi's
will spread the word of how important it is to have braille and assistance to
other places. Congrats to Monica's daughter for getting
such an accomplishment. </DIV>

accomplishments,grow,and gain strength in what they do and it's really good that
the organization is not leaving out girls that have visual issues adn

Girl Scouts of Connecticut is offering many of its popular National
Program Portfolio Resources (handbooks) in Braille.

style="FONT-SIZE: 11.5pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">The books were made
available through a gift for printing provided to Girl Scouts of the USA.
This gift honors the memory of Jane O’Connor Verhage, who was a former
Girl Scout troop leader, Board Member, and former Director of Volunteers
for Braille Institute of America. Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Program
Department requested that this free resource be made available to all of
Connecticut’s membership. <O:P></O:P></FONT></SPAN></DIV>

style="FONT-SIZE: 11.5pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">All three
Leadership Journey books are included in this collection: <I>It’s Your
World, Change It! It’s Your Planet, Love It!</I>, and <I>It’s Your Story,
Tell It</I>! These Leadership Journeys allow girls to hone their
leadership skills while exploring a particular topic. Each Journey has a
selection of activities and experiences that are tied to the 15 national
outcomes of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which helps girls
discover themselves and their values, connect with others to build healthy
relationships, and take action to make their world and community a better
place. This collection includes both girl books and adult guides.
