<div><strong>Good afternoon all;</strong></div>
<div><strong></strong> </div>
<div><strong>Although I sort of know the answer to this one, I have to
ask. This afternoon I received a phone call from a woman who's a house
keeper for a blind woman who lives in CT she was concerned about the
woman's welfare, there are several interesting things going on in this
woman's life, none are good. First place she's a blind professional who
has a dog, however according to this woman, the dog may not be treated
properly it's not being handled correctly, and maybe under fed. Secondly
this woman has two squatters living in her home. Both women who she's
represented, and now she can't get rid of them. </strong></div>
<div><strong></strong> </div>
<div><strong>The house keeper has also told me that in the past the dogs
have gotten sick on her rugs, messed on them. So the rugs need to be
cleaned or replaced however the woman refuses to do that. The Blind woman
is under the impression that everything is alright, and she doesn't seem
to want help from anyone. I recommended that the house keeper contact
legal authorities because quite frankly I'm not sure what if anything I or
the NFB can do for her, if she doesn't want our help. My question to you
folks, is out side of giving her BESB's number and suggesting that perhaps
she should call the health dept. is or was there anything else I could've
done?</strong></div>
<div><strong></strong> </div>
<div><strong>Rich</strong></div>
<div><strong></strong> </div>
<div><strong>P.S. I have 17 bags of dog biscuits made for national, I have
to admit I cheated and asked my sister to help make them, she actually did
all the work. But I say what are sister's for if you can't make them
work.</strong></div></td></tr></tbody></table>
