<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hello Cheri and Paul and also other listers.
I too have done research on Odin phones and am not pleaseed with my
findings.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The most important thing is, if my memory is
correct, the actual provider is T-Mobile. T-Mobile works very little in my
building and schetchy outside. That tells me coverage is not that
great. Make sure the phone will reach cells where it will be
used.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Second, the phones are outrageously expensive for
the features in the phone. It's the same old story. We have to pay
lots of money because it's a specialty item.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I know of a Samsung Verizon phone that will enable
calls to be made and received, texting and a blind person can enter and access
contacts. It is the Gusto 2 and is priced around $100.00, far less than
Odin. It has voice over out of the box and easy to feel keys. The
coverage is much better. I've put my hands on the Gusto 2 as my friend has
one. It's on my wish list.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>That's my take on Odin. Sorry to be so
negative but I call it the way I see it.</FONT></DIV>

<P>Hi,</P>
<P>Looking to see if anyone can give us some feedback on these phones.
Paul and I did some research on-line and are not sure if he wants to get the
Odin VI or the Ray. The Ray sounds good because it also has the color
indicator and money identifier. Does any one have either of these
phones? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.</P>

<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">There has
been a lot of discussion lately about the availability of accessible mobile
phone alternatives to the iPhone. Did you know that Odin Mobile formed a
partnership with the NFB? </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Odin
Mobile is a wireless provider dedicated to providing cellular service to
individuals who are blind or visually impaired. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">The
company offers a variety of cellular phones, including the ODIN VI—a basic
mobile phone that is accessible to individuals who are blind. This phone
is a great choice for people who just want to make calls, manage contacts,
text-message, and perform other basic tasks. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Odin
Mobile also sell the Nexus from Google, a top-of-the-line smartphone that
offers the latest in Android accessibility. Anyone who purchases this
smartphone receives one-on-one tutorials, as well as special customer
support. The tutorials and support are provided by an expert in Android,
who is also blind. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">With
monthly airtime rates as low as $10 per month, Odin Mobile has plans to fit
various budgets and needs. Customers also receive a free month of
service for every friend they refer to Odin Mobile. This is a nice
opportunity for those who can refer NFB members. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Perhaps
best of all, when a customer mentions that they are an NFB member, he or she
will receive a special <B>5 percent discount on Odin Mobile talk and text
plans</B>. The NFB will receive a percentage of the revenue that
Odin Mobile generates from NFB members, so you help the NFB, as
well. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Arial','sans-serif'">Odin
