As we know, Dr. Maurer passed the baton to Mr. Riccobono while he was still healthy and able to stick around to assist with the transition. I am pleased to see Beth following similar logic, and I know that she will continue to serve us for a significant time to come. Edward has been prepared, and he is ready to work closely with our national leadership to strengthen our movement in Connecticut. He could not have reached this point without Beth running her leg of the relay. Thank you, President Rival, for serving the past six years as I have grown in the National Federation of the Blind.
