<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The State of Connecticut, Department of Rehabilitation Services, Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind will be conducting a public hearing on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 3:00
p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this public hearing is to update the Bureau’s Vocational Rehabilitation section of the Unified State Plan of the Workforce Investment System of Connecticut.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The hearing will be conducted at 184 Windsor Avenue, Windsor, CT. The purpose of the hearing is to offer the public, consumers, advocates, agencies and organizations an opportunity to review
and provide comments pertaining to the proposed updates. The draft updates are attached and also available for review at
<a href="http://www.ct.gov/besb">www.ct.gov/besb</a>, in the Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation section. Print, Braille, and electronic copies of these documents will be available at the public hearing, or may be requested in advance of the hearing by
contacting the Bureau at (860) 602-4008. Comments may be submitted in person or through teleconference at the public hearing, or may be submitted via email to: <a href="mailto:brian.sigman@ct.gov">brian.sigman@ct.gov</a>; mailed to Brian Sigman, Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind, 184
Windsor Avenue, Windsor, CT, 06095, or recorded onto voice mail at (860) 602-4008. To participate in the public hearing through teleconference, please call (860) 602-4008 at least two business days prior to the public hearing to obtain the call-in phone number
and access code. All comments received prior to the close of business on Friday, February 16, 2018 will be fully considered in the final version of the State Plan update.
