Although it is important for all of us to get to know one another better, the AT Large chapter of the NFB of CT is a Chapter, as Phil pointed out. That means it must conduct NFB business and not just be a social club. I too like your idea very much and it will give the affiliate a chance to get to know people outside of their chapters. Business items could be taken care of in the first half hour and then the meet and greet could happen in the second half hour. The Presidential release is very important but takes up quite a bit of time when you only have one hour for your meeting. President Riccobono has the release live on the first of every month. I will give all chapter presidents this information and that way your members can listen to it then and you will not have to play it at your meeting. You are doing a wonderful job with this chapter and this is in no way a negative reflection of what you have been doing.
