All of the actors in the movie are visually impaired. It was filmed in British Columbia, Canada. Spoiler alert there are puppies and a guide dog incorporated in the story. The author seems to have a deep understanding of our community and the challenges involving the long wait to receive a guide dog. According to her, there is a shortage of puppy raisers.
