Lee, 70, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, February 9, 2024. Son of Donn and Norma Lee, brother to Donna Lee and recently deceased Stephen Lee, Mark spent his younger years in rural Simsbury. He met Lucia (Barber) Lee, the love of his life, in 7th grade after he moved to South Windsor. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2023. He was an avid gardener, growing countless varieties of tomatoes. Each summer, he looked forward to Lee family camping trips at American Legion State Forest and visits to Hawk’s Nest Beach. In his later years, he loved spending time with his grandkids – fishing, going to fairs and amusement parks, playing dominoes, and eating seafood. He was a die-hard NY Yankees and Giants fan, to much of his family’s chagrin, and also loved classic cars and NASCAR.
