[Ctabs] The New Bill

Fellow Federationists:

As you may have noticed from Kate's amazing news message, we are on the cusp of some truly awesome progress. As you also may have noticed, there has not been a big public announcement about this bill yet. In fact, the legislative directors around the country are not yet discussing it.

I talked today with two of my friends on our governmental affairs team, and it appears that there is still some potential for further revisions.

Like I'm sure many of us here are, I am very grateful to have the insider information, but please don't act on the bill just yet.

If you've already gotten up for some legislative fun, please allow me to recommend that you work on the TIME Act (ending the payment of subminimum wages) until we know we're ready to work on the higher education bill again.
