[Ctabs] Reminder: philosophy call tonight

I was going to get us to talk about how we have communicated about independence with our mothers.

First, have people recount stories of times when they have successfully convinced their mothers to let them spread their wings.

Then, have people describe a challenge they are currently facing with convincing their mothers to let them take another step.

They always want us to be successful, and mothers naturally worry. Sometimes, the mother of a blind child or young adult will worry as a matter of low expectations and misperceptions about blind people. Sometimes, they will just be worried because they are mothers.

It is important for us to think about these things and how they apply in our own lives.

Have a good night!

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me.

Well, I had fun on the call all by myself for five minutes.

Happy Mother's Day!
