[Ctabs] Adjusting our meeting schedule

Hi Edward,

I won't know which night I have open in September until September itself.

I won't get to register for my classes until mid August, and I will have some idea at that point, but the University reserves the right to Switchetts classes around, which has already happened to me, until the second week of the quarter, I think.

If we were to reevaluate people schedules every time mine changed, I would be sure to show up to the calls, but I wonder: would it be too difficult for people to remember which night we were using?

What do you all think?

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me.

Subject: [Ctabs] Adjusting our meeting schedule

CTABS members and leaders:

It appears that Sunday night meetings are not working very well for a significant portion of our membership. We want to make everything work as well as possible for our members, so it is important for us to discuss possible solutions.

On the call tonight, Edward, Edgar, Hamit, and I talked about possibly looking for a different day of the week and also going down to one meeting per month.

If we try to go back to a weeknight, I know that my class schedule will leave one open nights during the week, and that night will change every couple of months.

What does everyone want to do? We want to include as many people as possible.

Justin
