My name is Rachel Abrams and I am the Social Media Manager/Event Coordinator for Hartford Opera Theater.  I want to take the opportunity to tell you about our production of Aaron Copland's "The Tender Land" at 3:00pm on Sunday, June 4.
 
This year. we have made it our mission to make opera truly accessible to everyone. At the performance on June 4, we will be offering the use of audio describe technology to visually impaired patrons that want to attend the opera. In addition, patrons can attend a pre-show touch tour of the sets and costumes; and a short audio introduction to the characters in the show.  This tour will begin at 2:00pm and will be available to any visually impaired patron that purchases a ticket.  We ask that you notify us if anyone from your organization wants to participate so we know how many to expect.
