Hi Folks,

 

The following information is enlightening:

 

The Count a Dose is an insulin measuring gauge used by many blind diabetics
until MiniMed Incorporated based out of Northridge, CA, decided to
discontinue the product. All distributors in the U.S. have none left in
stock. The DDI Company is currently working on a new Count a Dose they will
call the Prodigy Count a Dose and they said the unit will be 1/2cc, retail
cost will be $40, and the device is expected to hit the market August 15th,
2009.
