Hi Cheryl,
Well, for me it is a cure.  Technically, it may be called a treatment, I don't know and I don't really care about the semantics here.  After 52 years of living this life on a tightrope, taking insulin and the blood sugars you-yoing, , I call this a cure!  I understand there may be side effects from immune suppressants, but at least I do not expect more complications from the high and low blood sugars of the diabetes!

My procedure was done in California and there are several universities conducting the same study right now.  I went to Minnesota to be approved for the study.  If anyone wants the contact info, let me know.
