[Diabetes-talk] Getting Your Doctor To Get ProdigyVoiceSoftware; was - ...

Eileen,

The new software will be jaws compatible. At that time, I'm confident
we will have the ability to upgrade your meter so that you have the
option to download your results. This is what I have been told.

At this time, all patients who have the voice pre January or post
January are unable to download their results due to the software not
being available.

I hope this helps.

Kelly:

My Prodigy meter was purchased last December 2008 so you're saying it
requires the specific prodigy cable for connecting it to a computer.
And
even if I had the correct cable, the software that will work with my
specific meter is not going to be Jaws compatible? Since insurance will

only cover one of these meters every five years, will there be any kind
of
trade-in abalable for people who got their Prodigy meters right before
the
newer model was released?

Thanks.

Eileen
