I use both humalog pens and lantus, I draw up the amount by listening to the clicks, and injecting myself.

  No I don't have this kind of problem.
  the pins I use are fixed up already.
  I pull up on the top before I turn it to the units I wish to use at the time.
  I don't know if this would help or not.
