Hello Albert,
I have been using a Prodigy Voice meter since last August and have never
seen this issue with it. My unit has always registered the correct time and
ate when reviewing my readings.

Hi List

In an earlier post I reported to you that I had recently acquired a new
Prodigy Voice glucometer. Now, almost a week later, I would like to update
you on my findings and let you know what I have found, and ask you to see if
your meter does the same as mine.

After taking four readings a day, for four days in succession I decided to
cycle through, and write down my readings so that I could provide them to my
Doctor since I can't download the data to my computer. The 7-day average
function seemed to work correctly, but, when I read the individual readings
the meter showed the date and time of each reading correctly, but the "AM"
or "PM" was wrong. Let me give you an example. Lets say that I read four
times on February 22 2009 at five AM, nine AM, four PM, and eleven PM. Then
on February 23, 2009 I read at six AM, eleven-thirty AM, five-fifteen PM and
ten-thirty PM. When I cycle through those eight readings from the previous
two days I would get: for Feb. 22nd, five AM, nine AM, four AM, and eleven
AM. For Feb. 23 I would get six AM, eleven-thirty AM, five-fifteen AM and
ten-thirty AM.

I subsequently contacted the Prodigy people and explained my findings to
them and their representative thanked me for the information and indicated
that they would send me a new meter, asking me to return the meter in
question. I have since received the replacement meter and it seems to work
exactly as the first one, showing the "AM" "PM" incorrectly.

My question to the list is this: has anyone else noticed this possible bug
in the system, or have I simply gotten two bad meters?

Yours,
Albert Sanchez
