[Diabetes-talk] I forgot

Dar:

I'll often bring my own food especially if I know the food that will be
served is high carb and will push my numbers through the roof. I don't
expect people to cook special for me so I just bring my own along and if
they don't understand then that's too bad. Other times, I'll ask in advance
what they will be serving and if I know its something I can work with I'll
bring my own little measuring cups and ask if I can measure out an
appropriate size portion before we sit down so I again know how many carbs
are in the food. Its not worth making myself sick over.
