Dear Paul and Paula,
When I used to go camping I used to bring tons of vegetables with me.  As 
far as your blood sugars I think if you are on Insulin you can bring it down 
in a matter of several hours.  If you are not on Insulin you should call 
your Diabetes educator for some instruction.
