Hi Debbie, and all,

Debbie, if you're still in contact with that doc, please ask him or her
where they got that information. I've never heard that yet, and look
forward to hearing from others here if they have. If it's a fact, great.
I'd just love to know from where it came is all. For the last 15 years or
so all I've heard was that your body starts degenerating faster when your
blood sugar level gets above (approximately) 140.

Thinking "logically" (?) about what that doctor told you, it could be said
similarly then, it seems, that you need not worry about your home being on
fire, as the flames won't damage it right away. Or that if you put a tight
rubber band around your finger, not to worry, you won't lose that finger for
awhile. Nevermind that it's already turning bluish-purpole from the
circulation being cut off, seconds after you put the rubber band on too
tight.

I can say one thing for sure. It's a heck of a lot less than 24 hours
before my body starts telling me it's feeling sick, on those occasions I
have extremely high blood sugar levels. (smile)

Strive On,
Everett

-----
I was told by a doctor in Illinois that high blood sugar will not damage the
body until it has been high for 24 hours. has anyone else ever been told
this?
Debbie
